KONGA AFFILIATE MARKETING: A GOOD NEWS FOR NIGERIANS

Dear readers

In my previous posts I discussed what affiliate marketing is and how relevant it is to us as Nigerians.

In this post, I will introduce my dear readers, to the best affiliate program available to us in Nigeria: The Konga affiliate Program.

Konga is said is to be the best as they strive to deliver to their customers on time as promised and Customers can pay them cash on delivery. That is, you do not have to pay online when you order for products.

Konga has a wide range of Products on their list, ranging from designer stuffs, Mobile phones, laptops and gadgets, electronics, shoes and bags for Men and Ladies, Kiddies and teenagers items, just name it. You can find affordable items like Casual tops, makeup and jewelries for less than a thousand Naira. The bookworms were also put into
perspective; you can browse through Konga’s array of books by genres, prices in order to quickly find what you are looking for.

Konga was launched in June 2012 by Sim Shagaya, as an online retail Store. And has since been the biggest of its kind in Nigeria. Your work cycle demands that you work and the nature of the city you live in demands that you wait before you get home. You barely have time to do the normal things. You forget you need to shop for toothpaste. Till you need it the next morning. You didn’t have time to buy seasoning, but your soup is almost ready. You are probably reaching home at midnight, and the woman who sells noodles next door has gone to bed. Why didn’t you buy it on your way? You try to explain that you didn’t see hawkers selling noodles and you were stuck in traffic. And there was no time. You realize you need many things, they are affordable but they are inaccessible.
Konga knows this story. This is Konga’s story. This tale is borne out of the desire to deliver with speed and precision so that you would never have to worry about accessing your needs and wants at your convenience.
With a company that started out in June 2012 with just about 7 people, it has grown rapidly into a massive online retail company whose warehouse sits on a 15,000 sqm property and over 130 staff. Konga.com prides itself in not just being an online store but in its customer service. In the words of its managing director, Sim Shagaya “We believe that at Konga, our service doesn’t end when we deliver your products to you but when we install it and make sure it works”
Beyond the rapid and effective exchange of money and goods, Konga also gives Nigerians who have businesses or products to sell, a platform to sell their products to a wider market. This is to open more business opportunities and to help create a thriving retailing culture in the country.
The Konga story is a different story. It not only boasts of a well-orchestrated setup to deliver to millions of Nigerians. It also speaks about the ever-growing presence of retail enterprise in Nigeria and how better it can get.
Konga has won several awards including:
·         Most Innovative and Impactful Brand in the Retail Trade Sector - The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2014)
·         Online Retailer of the Year - Marketing World Awards (2013)
·         Best Emerging Brand Of The Year - Marketing World Awards (2013)

There are two ways you can tap into this opportunity.

AFFILIATE MARKETING IN NIGERIA (PART 2)

AFFILIATE MARKETING IN NIGERIA (PART 2)

It is a fact that here in our country, things are a bit difficult financially and everybody is seeking a way to earn more income. Affiliate marketing is a very good platform to do this as you are able to work anytime you like and from anywhere you are in the world and still receive your commissions. I assure you that by taking this business seriously you will be securing your financial future. All you need is a good internet connection to enable you promote your links.

What is our number one reason for wanting to join an affiliate marketing referral program?

We want to make some income to better our standard of living.
So:
1. We want a reliable company, one we can bank on, a solid company that is true to its word
2. We want a respected company, one whose reputation will not destroy yours
3.  We want a company with respected brands that you can easily sell for profit
Yes, your commission is guaranteed if the company you decide to partner with is reliable and has respected brands that people are craving for.
But when you're paid your commission, how much will it be?
If your earning per month from the affiliate program is too small, you will soon abandon it.
The Fact is
You want the highest possible earnings from any affiliate program you choose to join.
Therefore, the best affiliate marketing program for you is one that empowers you to earn the highest amount of money.
Since that's the case, the important question is, "what affects how much you earn from the affiliate marketing referral program?"
It's the affiliate program Compensation plan.
There are several compensation plans
1.  One step earning plan: For this type of Affiliate Marketing you earn commission on the product you sell and that’s all.
2.  Multiple steps earning plan: for these types of Affiliate Marketing you earn commission on the products you sell and also on the products sold by affiliates that you introduce to the program.
We should strive to join programs that offer the second type of Plan, as our earnings would be more as compared to the first. As a matter of fact, if for some reason you are not able to promote, once your referred affiliates are promoting, you still get your share of the commission.
A very good Affiliate program that offers the second plan is SFI Tripleclicks in USA.
A great affiliate program of over 16years that is truly global and also accepts Nigerians. SFI TripleClicks pay their affiliates through Prepaid MasterCard by Payoneer. They pay commissions  directly to your card, then you convert to your currency instantly at any ATM machine displaying the MasterCard logo. Use your card to pay bills, order SFI products at TripleClicks...or anywhere else that accepts MasterCard debit cards.

HOW IT WORKS:

1) Direct Commissions: Each time an SFI affiliate that you have personally introduced–OR a TC member that you have personally referred–places an order at TripleClicks.com, you earn 45% of the CV.

Earnings Example: An order is placed by one of your personally referred TC members that has $23 CV. You earn a $10.35 Direct Commission (45% of $23)

2) TripleClicks Executive Pool: For each VersaPoint (VP) you accumulate during the month, you will receive one share of the month's pool. The more VP you score, the more you will earn from the TripleClicks Executive Pool! It's that simple. Note that VP can be earned for doing a wide variety of actions (see VP Ledger for complete list of pointable actions).

And so much more ways of earning income from this great site, in addition to having access to free trainings on how to maximize your earning potential.

You can get more details on this at http://www.sfi4.com/14790605/FREE

Watch out for my next post as I will be discussing the Affiliate programs that are based in Nigeria and how to join them.

Affiliate Marketing in Nigeria (PART 1)

Affiliate Marketing in Nigeria (PART 1)

Thank you so much for taking out time to read my write-up on Affiliate Marketing in Nigeria.

So what is Affiliate Marketing? For the sake of the newbies I would break it down as simple as possible.

An Affiliate marketer is similar to the conventional middle man in the real life market, who bridges the gap between a buyer and a seller and in returns gets a cut from the seller. The main difference with Affiliate marketing is the fact that all this is done on the internet.

So you want to establish an online business that will boost your income or even replace your offline income streams?  One of the easiest and cheapest ways to achieve this is through Affiliate Marketing.

You do not need a special skill or much training to get this started.
The world has become a global village and the internet is the medium that drives this. In developed countries buying and selling via the internet is no big deal as the system in place is solid.

But in Nigeria, we are building this gradually with sites like Jumai, Konga, Gloo to name a few, which are all growing bigger by the day.

Not to deviate too much, let’s go back to our Topic Affiliate Marketing. So an Affiliate Marketer is someone that gets buyers for a particular product online and in turn gets a commission on all the sales that are made through him/her.

I stand to tell you that Affiliate marketing is growing its tentacles in Nigeria and Nigerians are earning from it. And it’s a market that cannot be saturated.

But a point to note is that this is not a get rich quick scheme. No online business is. If anyone tells you to click a link and start earning 4 digits or 5 digits, please purge it out, it’s a Scam. Most internet gurus started with little or no earnings when they started and they grew bigger with time.

So you will need a lot of patience and perseverance if this is the path you choose.

Companies like EBay, Amazon, Clickbank, Paydotcom, tripleclicks and so on, accepts affiliates to promote their products and in turn pays them commission based on the sales made through them.

Some of these sites pay as much as 60% to 70% in commissions while the likes of Amazon pay not so much.

The Challenge with Affiliate marketing in Nigeria is basically how to get paid after referring Customers/buyers to these sites. Most of these sites pay their affiliates though Checks, paypal, direct deposit to Accounts, wire transfers, Payoneer cards  to name a few.  Most of these payment methods are difficult to access for Nigerians.

For instance, Paypal which would have been the easiest of them all has slapped a restriction on Nigeria and no payment can be made through them to Nigeria. (Caused by some Nigerians that defrauded the site)

Also note that some of these sites do not accept Nigerian Affiliates, so you have to do your findings before you choose the Site to promote their products.

All these might sound complicated, with questions like, how do you know which site to promote its products, how to track who brings who, how much commission do I get, how do I get paid in Nigeria, is there a limit to my earnings or to my affiliate programs etc.

Please watch out on my blog for step by step guide as I throw more light on this topic that a lot of Nigerians are yearning for.
